Gasoline Engine

• The gasoline engine features an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system that provides on-demand power, optimizes acceleration and enhances quiet operability. Plus, the EFI eliminates the need to adjust the carburetor, enabling better engine start-up in cold weather or after long-term storage and improving engine serviceability. The RTV400Ci offers a 16 HP, air-cooled, single cylinder gasoline.
• RTV500's offers a smooth 15.8-horsepower, 2-cylinder Kubota gasoline engine that is liquid-cooled to ensure reliability and minimize noise and vibration.

Transmission Options

• RTV400Ci – CVT Plus (Continuously Variable Transmission with Centrifugal Clutch)

  Virtually worry free. The exclusive centrifugal clutch keeps the heavy, double cogged-belt tight for minimal slippage, resulting in greater response and increased durability over the competitors' belt-drive systems. The one-way clutch provides noticeable engine braking to help maintain control during descents with engine assisted deceleration. For more plus, CVT Plus has a full protection cover to minimize mud or dust intrusion, enhancing durability and enabling a longer belt life.

• RTV500 – VHT Plus (Variable Hydro Transmission)

  Kubota’s exclusive and innovative hydrostatic transmission provides the RTV500 with an exceptional level of performance, handling and reliability under tough conditions. Approach long downhill grades with confidence utilizing the VHT Plus' smooth, transmission dynamic braking during deceleration. In addition, the Limited Slip Differential axle in 4WD offers outstanding traction and impressive power, providing the muscle to take you almost anywhere.

Dumping Cargo Bed

Use the cargo bed to haul up to 441lbs of dirt, gravel, rocks, hay or whatever will fit. The bed also manually tilts up to make dumping or unloading your cargo easy. Optional Electric Bed Lift is available for increased productivity.

Get in and get going. Featuring ergonomic, well-placed controls for easy operation and a comfortable contoured bench seat, so both the driver and passenger can enjoy a full day of work or play. The low operator platform offers ample and obstacle-free leg room, so it’s simple to step on or off. Standard ROPS meets or exceeds applicable SAE and OSHA requirements.

Convenient Transportation

The RTV400 and RTV500 are 54.7” in width; both are designed to fit into a full-size, long-bed pickup truck for easy loading and transporting.
